This month, Lost sheep Ministry had a visit from the “2011 Belize Bible Quiz Team” from Belize, Central America. This young and energetic team, ages 7-15, and their chaperones Pastor Benson, Mrs. Kidd and Miss Arthurs, were traveling to Chicago for competition in National Bible Quiz. They made a special stop in Knoxville to help serve the homeless.
The team volunteered at the Wednesday evening outreach under the Interstate Bridge in downtown Knoxville, helping serve food and distributing free New Testaments. Pastor Ernie gave the message, and Miss Sharon led the youth in singing and giving testimonies to our homeless neighbors. They were well received, and did a wonderful job. Praise God for the Belize Team, and their willingness to travel so far to share the love of God.
