You can volunteer your time and gifts
in many ways with Lost Sheep Ministry.

UNDER THE BRIDGE MINISTRY – Volunteers are needed to serve food, set up tables, hand out clothing, and pray for the homeless each Wednesday evening.

NIGHTCLUB GUARDIAN ANGELS (OLD CITY YOUTH OUTREACH) – Volunteers are needed to serve food and share God’s love with at-risk youths.  Every Saturday night a group goes into the Old City to reach out to those trying to find joy and relief from their inner hurts.

KITCHEN & WAREHOUSE – Volunteers are needed to prepare meals, sort clothing, inventory supplies, and organize donations.

OFFICE – Volunteers are needed to assist with office duties, answer telephones, and perform administrative tasks.

WHY YOU SHOULD PARTNER WITH LOST SHEEP

Partnership is something the Apostle Paul understood was necessary if the Kingdom of God was going to advance effectively.  Consider what he says to the Philippians:

And you Philippians yourselves know that in the beginning of the gospel, when I left Macedonia, no church entered into partnership with me in giving and receiving, except you only.  Even in Thessalonica you sent me help for my needs once and again.  Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that increases to your credit.  I have received full payment, and more.  I am well supplied, having received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent, a fragrant offering, a sacrifice acceptable and pleasing to God.  And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.  To our God and Father be glory forever and ever.  Amen. Philippians 4.15-20, ESV

Notice that Partnership involves both giving and receiving.  When you decide to partner with Maxine Raines and the Lost Sheep Ministry, you create the opportunity for three things to happen:

1. You are given “fruit that increases to your credit.”  In other words, a deposit is made in your heavenly account that rust and moths cannot harm, nor can thieves break in to steal it.
2. God supplies every need that you have as a result of your meeting someone else’s need.  You “reap what you sow.”
3. God receives glory on account of your gift and your partner’s ministry.

Partnership is not just about giving.  It is about joining together to extend the Kingdom of God on this earth.  It is about working together so that God receives the glory that is due His Name.

We ask you to consider prayerfully, partnering with us as we reach out to the homeless, the hurting, and the precious youth of our city who face dangers each and every day.  Your gift enables us to demonstrate and to proclaim the gospel of Jesus to people who are so often overlooked.
